Shipping Policy

Blackshield Forge sends and ships everything as a package!

​

We do this because advantage had been taken when it goes through a mailbox package. Therefor we use Track & Trace on a package which gives the assurance and guarantee that it has actually arrived.
 

Here are the shipping rates for sending a package:

We ship everything via MyParcel/Postnl with Track & Trace!

We deliver packages to a pickup point every day!

Shipping rates for the Netherlands:

Smaller than 100 x 70 x 50 cm up to 10 kg with Track & Trace € 7.95

Larger 100 x 70 x 50 up to a maximum of 175 x 78 x 58 cm and between 11 and a maximum of 30 kg with Track & Trace € 12.95

Sending new harnesses within the Netherlands costs € 50.00

New surcharge of € 3.00 (total of € 10.95) in 2021 on a package when:

  • when the box deviates in shape and has to be manually sorted

  • it is sent in a round packaging

  • it has a plastic wrap

  • it weighs more than 23 kg
     

Shipping rates for Germany:

Smaller than 100 x 70 x 50 cm up to 10 kg with Track & Trace € 10.95

Larger than 100 x 70 x 50 cm and smaller than 175 x 78 x 58 cm and between 11 and a maximum of 30 kg with Track & Trace € 19.95

 

Shipping rates for Belgium:

Smaller than 100 x 70 x 50 cm up to 10 kg with Track & Trace € 10.95

Larger than 100 x 70 x 50 cm and smaller than 175 x 78 x 58 cm and between 11 and a maximum of 30 kg with Track & Trace € 13.95

We only ship packages up to a maximum size of 170 cm (including packaging materials).

If the item is longer, it must be picked up in Almelo.

We do not ship any other items that fall outside these sizes.

The costs also include packaging materials, time, and fuel costs for delivering packages!

We preferably only send to countries within the EU, excluding switserland.

Cancellation & Return Policy

In case of defects on an article, you must report this to Blackshield Forge within 1 week after arrival.

 

  • Returning a Defective Item:

If there are any defects in an item, you must report it to Blackshield Forge within 1 week of arrival.

  • Cancelling an Order:

Order cancellation is only possible if the item has not been shipped or ordered for you. If we have already shipped your order or ordered it from the maker, or they are already making the product for you, we cannot cancel it.

Items that we deliver from our own stock may be returned whenever desired!

  • Returning a Wrong Order:

If you receive a wrong item, please contact Blackshield Forge via email first.

We will then look at how we can solve the problem as quickly as possible. If we sent you a wrong item, we will resolve this as soon as possible. If the error was made on our part, we will give you a Return Label, with which you can send the package back for free.

If it is a Special ordered item, we will first look at where the error lies and who is responsible and then look for a suitable solution.

  • Returning a Damaged Order:

The same applies to a damaged item. Contact Blackshield Forge and we will discuss together what the best step is.
 

Note: Most items are handmade, meaning that you will always find something on them, a scratch, light dent, stain. Since they are re-enactment items, we must be realistic about the damage!
 

When returning (part of) your order, the shipping costs are for your account. Except when the error lies with us.

The purchase amount of the part of the order that you returned will be refunded to you.

  • Returning a Special Ordered Item:

You want to return an item that was specially ordered or made for you.

Since we cannot return these items to the supplier, we do not take them back.

Out of consideration for the customer, we offer in (some) cases to let you choose another item for the amount of the item. But this decision lies with Blackshield Forge!

Money back does not belong to the choice!

  • Returning Sale / Out of Stock / From-For Items:

Sale / Out of Stock / From-For items are usually expiring models that will not come back.

These are offered at a special price and cannot be returned!

All cancellations, exchanges and returns must be discussed by email with Blackshield Forge!
